American military forces are apparently no more respectful in Afghanistan as they are in Iraq. US troops shot and killed up to six Afghan civilians in Kabul two months ago, according to The Independent. The claims had been previously dismissed, but now photographic evidence has brought the issue back up. The 20 photographs, taken by Atif Ahmadzai, show a number of unarmed civilians being shot at by troops in an American Humvee.
A statement that the US military had released said that US soldiers fired warning shots over the crowd, killing no one, and that a truck had lost control and killed one civilian. All witnesses, however, say that at least one US vehicle opened fir on the crowd, and the pictures support that idea.
Apparently, the US military is not discriminatory in killing civilians, it will kill people around the world, so long as the victims are Muslim.
